Habitat Energy USA appoints Kate Sherwood to lead growth of battery and renewable asset optimization services

Habitat Energy USA is delighted to welcome Kate Sherwood on board as Vice President, Origination to lead the growth of our battery storage and renewable asset optimization services across the United States.

Kate joins at an exciting time for the business, as we expand our presence from ERCOT across all ISOs, and build our pipeline of battery storage, renewable solar and wind, and co-located sites.

Kate has a proven track record of accelerating growth and profit and most recently served as Energy Business Director for Energy Storage Solutions at Wärtsilä North America. Prior to that she worked as Vice President of Sales-North America at Centrica Business Solutions and has also held leadership roles with Advanced Microgrid Solutions, SunPower, and Voltus. 

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Habitat Energy USA offers an end-to-end asset optimization service, fusing AI-powered forecasting, human-in-the-loop trading oversight and deep asset intelligence to unlock the full revenue potential of battery storage and renewable energy assets.
